3 Ways to Stop Fighting Your To Do List by @_ChelleShock
by Michelle Nickolaisen | Featured Contributor
Many business owners have a love-hate relationship with their to-do list – they know it’s a good idea to have one, in theory, but in actuality, they struggle with it. They feel stifled- or, just as often, intimidated and overwhelmed – by it, they feel like it messes with their focus, is too hard to manage, and so on.
Two People Who Could Help You Manage Your Time
An agonist. While an antagonist blocks an action, the agonist causes it to happen. Even more than a muse, a professional agonist might be exactly what you need to provoke your best work.
And of course, a procrastinatrix. Someone who’s only job is to hold you accountable for getting it done, now, not later. Read more…
Maybe It’s Time To Toss In The Towel

I’ve been making lists. Most of the time. But I still find myself getting distracted and trying to do three or four things at once when none of those things are on my list. Read more…

How (and Why) to Stop Multitasking
Doing several things at once is a trick we play on ourselves, thinking we’re getting more done. In reality, our productivity goes down by as much as 40%. We don’t actually multitask. We switch-task, rapidly shifting from one thing to another, interrupting ourselves unproductively, and losing time in the process.
Peter Bregman tells us How (and Why) to Stop Multitasking. I realize this won’t stop anyone from multitasking, but I thought it was an interesting read!
